Hike to the Prayer Flags

Join Steve, Tim and others for a Hike on Howelsen Hill.

For those of you who will be in town on Friday morning and would like a little fresh air and adventure, please join us on a short (and slightly strenuous) hike to the prayer flags on Emerald Mountain. Each year, a group from the Buddhist Center carries new flags filled with prayers to a beautiful Aspen grove and adds them to the prayer flag garden. There are beautiful views and a lovely bench to rest on at the top. The hike is only 1.2 miles up (2.4 miles round trip), but it is an uphill climb most of the way. It typically takes 2-2.5 hours. We will meet at 8:30 AM at the Blackmere Trailhead, 400-404 Routt St, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487. It will take about an hour and a half. All are welcome, please join in!
