Imagining a Sacred World
A weekend retreat with Tim
September 22-24
We all imagine a way of being that is more open, free, and connected than what we’re experiencing now. Whether we know it, or not, everything we do is motivated by the impulse to make this possibility a reality. The Buddha, himself, was driven by this same longing. Through his example and the guidance of our wisdom lineage, we can discover a way of experiencing our lives and the world around us as being open, alive and fundamentally good. This is the nature of enlightened vision, the dawn of “sacred world”. During the weekend, Tim will draw from wisdom of the great bodhisattvas of the past and, in particular, from the guidance of his own teachers.
Registration:
Both in-person and online registration will be available in July. We will have an after-party on Sunday and a few other social events throughout the weekend Friday am - Monday am if you can stay to socialize.
Places to stay in Steamboat:
Steamboat is absolutely beautiful in September. It’s wise to make reservations well ahead of time.
Here is information about Places to Stay while in Steamboat!
“No matter what comes along, we’re always standing at the center of the world in the middle of sacred space, and everything that comes into that circle and exists with us there has come to teach us what we need to know.
Our life’s work is to wake up, to let the things that enter into the circle wake you up rather than put you to sleep.
